I work at Philips Innovation & Strategy in Eindhoven in the group Data Science & AI. I have worked on topics ranging from cognition & emotion, psychophysiological measurements of stress and emotions, light therapy to relieve muscle pain. After that, I provided support for research on activity monitoring (i.e., unobtrusively measuring energy expenditure) and sleep. More recently I moved to digital engagement, and NLP with topic modeling as well as providing generic support to various projects on study design, study management, and data processing and analysis. I have 20 years of experience in R programming and I am the group’s go-to resource on statistics and data analysis.
Scientific interests: combining basic and applied research, stress and emotion, psychophysiology, user experiences, measurement of activity and energy expenditure, and data processing and statistics.
